Larry Dashiell
STG President / CEO
Larry Dashiell has three great boys Evan, Joel and Drew and a beautiful wife Jade. He started learning the electrical field at the ripe old age of 10. He was the shop person for his dad, who founded the company in 1968. He took over company operation in 1986. He is a true entrepreneur, having added two additional divisions to the company; Summit Electrical Service and Summit Electronic Systems.
Larry is very active in different industries, serving on many Boards in order to keep up on new directions and to help others in the industry. He is also one of the founders of Redwood Empire Independent Electrical Contractor's Association, which allows for professional training of electricians in our area.
Kim Wayte
Human Resources & Operations
A long time resident of Santa Rosa, Kim began her career in the Information Technology industry in 1993. Her diverse experience includes roles in sales, purchasing, project management, contract administration and operations management. Kim’s strong interpersonal skills and her genuine love of working with people ultimately led her to pursue a position in a service capacity. She found her niche at Summit Electric as our Service Division General Manager in 2005. In June 2008, Kim moved into Human Resources & Operations for the parent company, Summit Technology Group, Inc. Kim lives in Santa Rosa with her partner, Shawn, 3 cats and a dog. In her off time, Kim enjoys travel, reading, hiking, movies, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Steve Barrow
STG Chief Financial Officer
Steve Barrow joined STG as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in November 2007. Steve’s charter is to develop long-range strategic plans to guide our company’s business leaders, including revenue growth, banking relationships, cash flow analysis, and cost controls.
Steve brings 20 years of operational/financial experience with heavy-duty manufacturing, electrical distribution and engineering service companies. His areas of expertise include financial, customer service, human resources, information technologies, manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, quality management, risk management, shipping, receiving, and maintenance.
After serving in the US Army, Steve graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Business Mgt/Accounting. A 25-year resident of Sonoma County, Steve resides in Cloverdale with his wife of 20+ years, Tracie and two children, Matthew and Cameron. In his free time Steve enjoys spending time with his family, winemaking, scuba and abalone diving, traveling and community volunteering.
Beverly Schapp
STG Controller
Beverly has over thirty years of accounting experience with expertise in all areas of business accounting. She enjoys the challenge of working with numbers, but also likes spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Lindsay Cameron
STG A/R & Payroll Manager
Lindsay Cameron joined Summit Technology Group in September 2007 as our Accounts Receivable & Payroll Manager. Lindsay enjoys the challenges of the accounting world and comes to us with over 4 years of construction accounting experience. She is currently working toward her Bachelors of Science in Accounting.
Kenny Cotton
SEIS Division Manager
Kenny has been involved in the audio/video, telecommunications and satellite industries for over 10 years. Working for Pacific Bell Kenny was employed as a construction splicing technician, and building telecommunication infrastructures throughout the Bay Area. Kenny has broad knowledge in satellite TV installation. In the audio/video industry Kenny worked as an installer, programmer, estimator and project manager. He is a CEDIA Certified Professional Installer. In June 2008, Kenny was promoted from Installation Manager to Service Division General Manager. Kenny enjoys his free time camping and boating with his family.
